Update: La Crosse Police looking for suspect in Armed Robbery

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – La Crosse Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery that took place at the Kwik Trip on Cass Street early Tuesday morning.

Police said they were called to the store shortly after 4 a.m. The store employees said a man entered the store displayed a handgun and demanded cash. Police said the suspect took some cash and left on foot down the alleyway behind the store.

The suspect is a white male about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve gray colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants, boots, gloves and face mask.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW)--La Crosse Police are searching for a male suspect after an armed robbery early Tuesday morning at the Kwik Trip Store on Cass Street.

The robbery happened at 4:09 a.m.

According to police, the suspect had a hand gun, and was able to leave the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police are still searching for him.

There were no injuries in the holdup.

The store has since reopened.
