Eagles' big sticks crush UW-Stout

MENOMONIE, Wis. (WXOW)  The UW-La Crosse baseball team scored 29 runs in a doubleheader sweep over UW-Stout Tuesday.

The Eagles won the first game 17-10 and the second game 12-5.

In game one, Cole Cefalu went 4 for 6 with 6 runs batted in. He ended up 6 for 10 with 10 runs batted in and 5 runs scored in the two games.

Cefalu had plenty of help. Taylor Kohlwey and Joel Zyhowski each went 6 for 11 on the day.

The Eagles improve their record to 14-13 and 7-6 in the WIAC.
