Packers like opener at Seattle

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin (WXOW)  The NFL finally caving in to the hunger of football fans Wednesday by delivering a meat sandwich in the form of the schedule being released.
It certainly has Packers fans talking after they were awarded a spot on center stage on opening night.
Emotions will run high September 4th in one of the loudest venues in the nfl....seattles centurylink field.
The Packers experienced the affects two seasons ago when they lost that controversial game known as the "Fail Mary."
Plus, the Seahawks celebrating their Super Bowl title add to the juiciness of this opening night showdown.

"It'll be a good test for us, opening with the champs.  It's a tough environment.  But it's exciting when you get the opportunity to start the season out because everybody watching.  Prime time game.  It's a big time opponent.  It'll be a good test for us," said quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
"I think all of us were pretty excited when we saw that game on the schedule.  That's a game that's pretty special to be a part of.  Especially going up to CenturyLink and taking on the defending champs.  It's a huge test.  But it's something that if we want to get to where we want to be we have to into the tiger's den and try to get a win," said linebacker A.J. Hawk.
"Think about how the end of the season played out.  It happens every single year.  There's always things that go on during the course of the season.
I think there's a lot of time and energy wasted on the initial schedule.  So, playing at Seattle, I'm glad it's the first game for travel purposes," said head coach Mike McCarthy.
