Sheriff said medical Issue may have caused Monroe Co. crash

TOWNSHIP OF WILTON, Wis. (WXOW) – The Monroe County Sheriff's department has released the name of a man who died of an apparent health related problem while driving in the Township of Wilton.

The Sheriff's department said Mark Orourke, 44, was driving on County Highway Z near Minnow Ave. when he drove off the road into a field around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers said Orourke had no injuries but he was found unresponsive and not breathing. He was later pronounced dead.

The incident remains under investigation.

TOWNSHIP OF WILTON, Wis. (WXOW) – A Township of Wellington man died of an apparent health related problem while driving in the Township of Wilton, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's office.

The incident happened shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The Sheriff's office said the man was driving westbound on County Highway Z near Minnow Ave. when he drove off the road into a field.

There was no damage to the vehicle or the trailer the man was towing. Officers said the man had no injuries but he was found unresponsive and not breathing. He was later pronounced dead.

The Sheriff's department said it appears the man died from health related problems. His name is not being released pending notification of the family.

The incident is under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's office.
