Hanson to leave Tomah Chamber/Convention and Visitors Bureau

TOMAH, Wis. (WXOW) – The Executive Director of the Tomah Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is resigning.

Christopher Hanson has headed both organizations for nearly nine years.

Hanson has accepted the position of President and CEO of the Veteran Assistance Foundation, also based in Tomah.

“I have truly loved my tenure with the Tomah Chamber/CVB,” Hanson said. “Nine years has been a long time and I appreciate those who have supported me and the Chamber/CVB. You have helped make this one of the best organizations in the state.”

Hanson's last day is June 4.

A special selection committee has been formed from both the Chamber and CVB boards to research and hire Hanson's replacement.
