Big 4th inning leads Logan past Central

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW)  A six-run 4th inning propelled Logan past Central 8-5 in an MVC showdown at Copeland Park Thursday.

The Rangers entered the 4th down 1-0. Then Tanner Pierzina dropped down a perfect squeeze bunt with the bases loaded to tie the game. Nathan Baker followed with an RBI single to give Logan a 2-1 lead.
But the big blow came off the bat of Dylan Crocker. His three-run double off the wall in left made it a 5-1 game and the Rangers never looked back.

Logan improves to 4-3, 3-2 in the MVC.

It's Central's first loss in the MVC. They fall to 3-1 in conference and 6-2 overall.
