Argument leads to crash in Trempealeau Co.

GALESVILLE, Wis. (WXOW) – A Blair man is arrested after police said he grabbed the steering wheel of his girlfriend's car which caused it to crash.

It happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. Sunday.

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's department said Cindy Miller, 47, from Arcadia was driving on State Road 54/93 when she lost control of her vehicle causing it to overturn.

Based on an investigation, the Sheriff's department said it appears Miller's boyfriend Jordy Whyte, 45, grabbed the steering wheel of the car during an argument causing the crash.

Whyte was arrested and taken to the Trempealeau County jail.

Miller was taken to a hospital for minor injures.

Miller's teenage daughter was also in the car during the crash. She was not injured.
