LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) UW-La Crosse is looking ahead to it's conference tournament and doing so with a ton of confidence.
The Eagles just completed a weekend series with UW-Oshkosh in which they won 3 out 4. Going back even further, UW-L has won 13 of it's last 14 games.
They will have the number two seed in the WIAC Tournament.
The Eagles have proven they can win in a variety of ways. Shane Adler pitched them to a 2-1 win in a pitcher's duel Sunday. Then they came back and put up 13 runs in game two.
"Offense has been swinging the bats really well. Last week we put up unreal numbers. It's good to go into the WIAC Tournament playing ball the way we are. We know we can beat anybody. We know we can beat any pitcher they throw against us and we can beat any team in the WIAC," Adler said.
The Eagles will open WIAC Tournament play Friday. They will play UW-Stevens Point in Whitewater.
