Middle school evacuated for bathroom fire

HOLMEN, Wis. (WXOW) Holmen Middle school was evacuated Wednesday morning for a fire in the boys bathroom.

Holmen Fire department Chief Doug Schober said they were called to the school shortly after 9 a.m.  When they arrived the school was evacuated and there was a fire on the second floor of the school in the boys bathroom. 

Crews contained the fire quickly.  Only minor damage was reported and school is back in session.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being investigated by the fire department.
