UW-La Crosse student , 22, injured after fall

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - A UW-L student is in the hospital after falling from the roof of a building on Saturday.

According to police, the 22-year-old was with a group of friends who left a bar Saturday night. The friends told officers the man climbed to the top of a building by 1804 State Steet, but fell while trying to get to another roof.  The man hit his head when he landed.

Rescuers found the man unconscious but breathing.

He remained hospitalized Monday.

The student's name hasn't been released by police.
