TOMAH, Wis. (WXOW) – State Representative Amy Sue Vruwink, from Milladore, is running for re-election.
She made the announcement Tuesday in Tomah.
“During my time in the Assembly, I have been an independent voice for our district's rural values. My focus has been on creating an economy that grows from the middle class out and helps support the strong rural communities and businesses we need in order to create opportunities for our children,” she said.
Representative Vruwink represents the 70th Assembly district which includes parts of Jackson, Monroe, Portage and Wood counties. She has held the office since 2002.
