Tomah residents notified of sex offender release

TOMAH, Wis. (WXOW) - A sex offender will be released into the Tomah community.

Brian Vadnais, 53, was convicted of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child in 1993.  In 1994, he was convicted of first degree sexual assault of  a child.

Vadnais has served his sentence and will be released into the community sometime before May 30.  He will be living at 1515 Kilbourn Ave, in the City of Tomah.

Vadnais will be required to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration program for life and will be required to wear a global positioning device.

Vadnais is not wanted by police.  It is state law to notify the public of a sex offender being released into the community.
