La Crosse man arrested for selling meth to a police confidential informant

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – A La Crosse man is arrested in connection with selling meth following an investigation by police.

The La Crosse Police Department said a team of neighborhood response officers had received complaints from residents about possible drug activity at 907 5th Avenue South in La Crosse.

Police arrested Jacob Lewis, 30, Tuesday after police said Lewis sold methamphetamine to a police confidential informant.

Lewis was arrested for two counts of felony delivery of meth, felony possession of a controlled substance, three counts of bail jumping, possession of THC and a local outstanding warrant.

He is expected to appear in La Crosse County Court on May 30.
