TOWNSHIP OF BYRON, Wis. (WXOW) – A Tomah woman is injured after she turned underneath a semi-trailer.
The crash happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday, in the Township of Byron.
The Monroe County Sheriff's office said Cora Stewart, 30, was attempting a right turn from State Highway 173 onto State Highway 21 but made the turn too wide and crossed the center-line striking an eastbound semi-tractor trailer.
Stewart's car became wedged under the front portion of the semi trailer. She was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi, Brandon Maki, 25, from Madison was not injured.
The crash is under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's office.
