Packers' linebacker A.J. Hawk takes flight with the Blue Angels
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - The Blue Angels received a special visit from a member of the Green Bay Packers Wednesday.
Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk took a backseat flight with the Blue Angels Wednesday afternoon.
The Blue Angels provide two rides per demonstration to members of the Key Influencer program. The KI program selects individuals who shape attitudes and opinions of youth in their communities.
Before the flight, A.J. Hawk said he expects an unforgettable experience.
"Like I said, I'm expected to throw up and pass out all at the same time so we'll see. If I only do one of them, then that's a victory I guess but I don't care. Like I said I'm expecting all of it, I want to get the full experience."
A.J. Hawk made it back on the ground safe and sound and did just fine.
The Blue Angels will perform this weekend at Airfest.
