LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – Secretary of State candidate Julian Bradley made a stop in La Crosse Saturday morning at the La Crosse County GOP headquarters to encourage people to get out and vote.
Bradley is running to unseat Doug La Follette, a democrat, who has held the position for more than 30 years.
"There's a lot of people who are not even registered to vote,” Bradley said. “So we're trying to get out there, get people registered, and give them the information. So hopefully they will make a decision and vote for our ticket come November."
At the Wisconsin Republican Convention earlier this month, the party threw their support behind Bradley.
He and volunteers made calls and went door-to-door Saturday to inform voters about the race as part of the statewide super Saturday canvas.
