Holmen golfers headed back to State

BARABOO, Wis. (WXOW)  The Holmen boys golf team earned a bid to the WIAA State Meet next week thanks to their second place finish Tuesday at the Sectional Meet at Baraboo Country Club.
Tyler Church led the way with a 74.
He was the meet's co-medalist.
Teammate Drew Schroeder shot a 76 to tie for 3rd and Connor Frawley had a 77 to take 9th overall.
Middelton won the Sectional title with a 305.
Holmen had 309.
Onalaska took 3rd and Tomah 4th, but only the top 2 teams qualify for the state meet.
Onalaska's Bennett Hutson qualified as an individual with a 77 as did Tomah's Trey Hewuse with the same score.
The WIAA State Meet is next week Monday and Tuesday at University Ridge in Verona.
