LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - It took just three clues for the Riverfest Medallion Hunt to come to an end.
Marina Tofstad and her nine year old daughter Gloria found the medallion in the shrubs near the flag pole at La Crosse’s CentralHigh School Tuesday night. Riverfest organizers drew up 10 clues, but the last seven weren’t needed this year.
The two noticed the medallion as they walked to the Festival Foods store.
This is the third year Marina has taken part in the Medallion hunt, but her daughters first.
In return for their find, the two receive tickets to the Commodore Banquet, an All Fest Party along with collective pins, food vouchers and buttons.
Riverfest runs from Wednesday July 2nd through Sunday July 5th at La Crosse’s RiversidePark.
