HOLMEN, Wis. (WXOW) - A 19-year-old is in jail Sunday night after attempting to kill a family member, according to the La Crosse County Sheriff's Department.
Xai Vang is charged with attempted homicide and domestic disorderly conduct.
An argument lead Vang to stab a family member once in the arm. That victim has been treated and released from Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, said Sgt. Brandon Penzkover of the Sheriff's Department.
The incident happened at a house on Garden Street in the Town of Holland around 2:30 p.m., according to a news release.
Penzkover told News 19 that the 9-1-1 call was placed from inside the home.
The Sheriff's Department, Holmen First Responders, Holmen Police Department and Tri-State Ambulance all responded.
