Elsewhere, in division one Holmen lost it's semifinal game against Reedsburg 4-2 in Middleton. Andrew Shculenberg broke a 2-2 tie with a solo home run in the 7th inning. It was just Holmen's second loss of the season.
Also in Middleton, Central lost to Middleton 2-1. The key play coming when Brent Kappauf hit what appeared to be a two-run double. But the Cardinals appealed the play and the umpires ruled that base runner Jerred Ambrose missed third base and was called out. So instead of a tie game, it was 2-1 and Central was never able to score after that.
