Loggers winning streak ends in Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WXOW) - The La Crosse Loggers came up short Tuesday night which brings to an end their seven game winning streak.

The team lost to the Green Bay Bullfrogs on the road 6-4.

The Loggers outhit the Bullfrogs 10-7, but more importantly, left ten men on base in the game at Joannes Stadium.

La Crosse jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the first inning when Aaron Knapp scored from second on a Nash Knight single.

Green Bay came right back and plated two in their half of the first, plus one more in the second.

Trailing 6-3 going into the ninth inning, the Loggers had the bases loaded, but could only put one run across before Adrian Chacon hit into the final out to end the game.

The Loggers go to 9-6 on the season.  Both teams play each other Wednesday night.
