Missing Onalaska man found safe

ONALASKA, Wis. (WXOW) - UPDATE: Onalaska Police have found Kevin, the man who walked away from a group home Wednesday evening.

Police said Kevin was spotted by a homeowner in the Innsbruck Addition located along Highway 16 between Onalaska and West Salem.

Thursday morning officers from the Onalaska Police department and  La Crosse County Sheriff's department were checking that area and found Kevin walking around.   Police said Kevin appeared to be in good health.

ONALASKA, Wis. (WXOW) - UPDATE: Onalaska Police are still looking for a man who walked away from a group home Wednesday evening.

They're asking people to let them know if they've seen him.

The person they are looking for is named Kevin.  He's 32, but has a cognitive age of 12.  He's 6' 1" and 230 pounds with bald head and clean shaven.

When last seen, he was wearing black pants, a long sleeve blue shirt, and camouflage crocs.

Police believe that Kevin may be in the area of the Highway 16 corridor in Onalaska.
