La Crosse, WIS. (WXOW) ----- The high school hoops scene is heating up in La Crosse this week.
Players from all over the state are at Viterbo to showcase their skills in the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Exposure Camp.
Viterbo hosts the 3-day event, which focuses on player skill development and provides college coaches with the opportunity to see some of the state's best players play.
57 All-Conference players are in the 121 player pool including Luther's Colin Kennedy, Onalaska's Jalen Zubich and Westby's Tanner Schmitt.
"It's nice you get to see what other areas can show you, and you get to go against some of the best players in the state here, it's fun to see how you compare with them and what you got," says Onalaska Sophomore Jalen Zubich.
"It's an honor to be here with such talent, I have been coming for a couple of years and the competition keeps getting better and better. You get to play against different people, college coaches get to look at you, it gets your name out there, it's an honor," says Westby Senior Tanner Schmitt.
Action continues Tuesday afternoon at Beggs Gymnasium.
