LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW)- Scott Mihalovic announced Tuesday, June 17th, that the 2013-2014 school year was his last year as the principal at Logan High School. Mihalovic has led Logan High School since 1998 and is credited with growing a school that is rich in tradition and ranger pride. He became the Associate Principal at Logan in 1988 and was principal in 1998. Mihalovic stated he is ready for a change and he will miss the kids and staff greatly at Logan High. "It's hard. 28 years in this school and I've had a lot of great memories. I really feel good about who we are and the work of our faculty and staff," stated Mihalovic.
In his new position, Mihalovic will be in charge of programs which provide educational training for individuals interested in becoming principals, superintendents, or directors of student services or instruction. He succeeds Jim Bagniewski who is retiring from the position in August.
"We are delighted to welcome Scott to Viterbo,"said Barbara Gayle, Ph.D., Viterbo's vice president for academic affairs.
