Trees fall on top of cars in Onalaska

ONALASKA, Wis. (WXOW) – Heavy wind pushed trees on top of cars, taking down power lines as they fell.

The 900 Block of West Avenue shut down from all the damage.

A spokesperson for Xcel Energy said 165 people in Onalaska are still without power. There's no time line on when that power will be restored.

The biggest cause of power outages has been trees falling on power lines, according to the La Crosse Fire Department.
