WILTON, Wis. (WXOW) - The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said heavy rain might be a factor in a two vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m., a car driven by 68-year-old Mildred Jones of Wilton was crossing Highway 131 at County Highway A in the Town of Wilton. As she pulled out, a southbound pickup and trailer driven by 50-year-old Walter Taylor tried to avoid Jones' car, but collided.
Jones was wearing a seatbelt according to the Sheriff's Office. She was taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Neither Taylor, or his wife Kelly Taylor, were injured in the crash.
