LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW)- The La Crosse Loggers hope to enhance their game day experience with a series of improvements to Copeland Park.
Loggers General Manager, Chris Goodell, wants more permanent restroom facilities at the ballpark. That discussion than led potentially expanding concessions stands, along with the city suggesting to replace the portable bleachers in left field.
The City and Loggers still have to consider multiple factors including the costs and details of the study. Goodell stated, "We are anxious to just what it is. We don't know any costs or what we can and cannot do. We will know a lot more after the results come back from the study and than we will be able to hopefully set a more clear path after that."
Nothing is decided at this time. A study may take a couple years but there is no certainty. "It all depends on what we find out. It is kind of premature to say it's going to happen here, here, here or if it is even going to happen at all because we don't know the dynamics or costs."
Goodell says it will be a fun exploration and is excited to see what comes of it.
