La Crosse, WIS. (WXOW) -------- The La Crosse Loggers dropped a heartbreaker 7-5 to the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters Friday night at Copeland Park.

Keelin Rasch and Clarke Eagan each recorded RBI hits in the top of the third to give the Rafters a 5-run lead through four innings.

But the Loggers answered in each of the next three innings.

In the bottom of the 4th, Mark Frazier hit his 2nd home run of the season to cut Wisconsin Rapids lead to three.

Nash Knight cut further into the Rafters lead in the 5th, as he singled in both Aaron Knapp and Jack Meggs to trim the lead to one.

In the 6th, Meggs capped the Loggers five run come back when he singled in Jerrod Bravo to tie the game at 5.
