LEWISTON, Minn. (WXOW) -- Three people are recovering after a head-on collision in Lewiston Saturday night.
The crash happened along Highway 14 just east of Lewiston just after 9:30 p.m. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 40-year-old Lois Escho of Lewiston had been drinking before she crossed the center line and hit a 16-year-old girl head on.
Escho and her passenger, Marc Hopkins of St. Paul, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old girl, Brettney Starks of Altura, was taken to Mayo Clinic-St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester with serious injuries according to the MSP.
Highway 14 between Stockton and Lewiston was closed for over an hour as authorities cleaned up the scene.
