Galesville woman arrested for trafficking heroin

GALESVILLE, Wis. (WXOW) - A months long investigation leads to the arrest of a Galesville woman on heroin trafficking charges.

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office said the investigation began in February until the arrest of 25-year-old Dejahlee M. Edwards.

She appeared for a hearing in Trempealeau County Circuit Court Monday, where she was given a $5,000 cash bond.

According to the Sheriff's Office, she is suspected of delivering heroin four times during the investigation.

They add that no additional arrests are expected.  The investigation was assisted by the West Central MEG Unit, Galesville Police, and Trempealeau Police.

Edwards is scheduled for her next court appearance next week.
