Trust Point announces new car winner

 LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Trust Point awards one lucky high school senior with a new car.

Trust Point is an independent trust and investment management firm in La Crosse.

To encourage students to stay in school and better their futures, Trust Point sponsored the "Keys To Success" program.

Over 99 area seniors from Aquinas, Central, Logan, Luther, and Onalaska applied to the program.

Attendance, grades, and positive decisions were among the criteria of finding at student who demonstrated the need for car and showed improvement over their senior year.

Each school monitored and determined the eligibility of it's students. The winner was chosen by a third-party committee.

Abigail Stephan of Luther High School was the "Keys to Success" winner and received new car. Stephan plans to attend Rochester Community and Technical College to become a Veterinary Technician.

The two runners up received a $500 scholarship to the college of their choice.

The remaining 44 seniors who successfully completed the program also received iPads.
