MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WXOW) The Brewers are celebrating their four all-star selections which were announced on Sunday.
It is the first time since 2007 that four Brewers were named to the All-Star team.
Aramis Ramirez became the first Brewers 3rd baseman to start in an All-Star Game. Ramirez enjoyed a late surge at the ballot box to overtake New York's David Wright at 3rd base. It will be his 3rd all-star game, but his first since 2008. He's hitting .287 this season with 11 home runs and 41 runs batted in. "It's always fun. It's fun to go out there. It's good for my family. I didn't know that until today (Monday)," Ramirez said when he was told about his place in Brewers lore."Somebody told me that. It's very special. I've been here for only three years. It's pretty special to represent these people."
The All-Star Game will be at Target Field in Minneapolis on July 15th.
