LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – After flooding forced the WAFER food pantry building to get rid of all of their carpeting, restoration crews are officially in rebuilding mode.
On Wednesday, crews removed all of the wet and damaged drywall inside the WAFER building, and plan to replace the drywall by Friday morning.
WAFER has ordered new tiling for the entire floor space in the building, and said they are “unsure” when the tiling will be installed. New tiling could cost WAFER nearly $5,000, and said they haven't yet determined how they will pay for the new flooring.
