Former Logger Sale added to AL All-Star team

 NEW YORK, New York (WXOW)   The La Crosse Loggers will have two former players in uniform at next week's Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Target Field.

    White Sox pitcher Chris Sale was added to the American League squad Thursday.

    Sale won a fan vote for the final spot on the roster.

    Sale is 8-1 this season with a 2.08 earned run average for Chicago.

    He pitched for the Loggers in 2008.

    He joins Detroit's Max Scherzer as former loggers who will suit up in the mid-summer classic.
