ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW) The Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge is sponsoring guided walks through the prairie surrounding its visitor center on Brice Prairie. You can learn about the flowers, grasses, birds and pollinators attracted to the area.
The walks are set for Saturday, July 12th and July 19th beginning at 11:00 AM. The quarter mile walks on a flat surface will take about an hour. While you're there, you can see exhibits inside the visitor center along with the 2.3 miles of trails surrounding the facility.
