Onalaska WI (WXOW) - More than 500 Special Olympic athletes and coaches made their way to Onalaska's Quincy Park to compete.
Those athletes took part in softball, tennis, and bocce tournaments. The program provides year-round training and athletics for children and adults with disabilities. The athletes say it's a chance for them to learn and be part of a team.
Individuals and teams that that finished in 1st place will advance to the state tournament at Carroll University August 1st-3rd.
