La Crosse Police investigate armed home robbery

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW)  - Two suspects are wanted by La Crosse Police after they break into a home Tuesday morning.

According to a statement from police, shortly before 9:00 a.m., two men entered a home on the 1000 block of State Street.  Once inside, the men woke up the two female residents. One of the robbers displayed a handgun and demanded money.

Once they got the cash, they left the home.

A description of the two men was provided by police:

Suspect 1: a Black male, approximately six feet tall, weighing 160-180 lbs. The man had a slender build.  He was wearing a black t-shirt and dark colored jeans.

Suspect 2: an Hispanic male, approximately 5'7" in height, weighing 160-190 lbs. with a stocky build.  He wore a black sweatshirt, dark colored jeans, and green/white tennis shoes.

The women told investigators both men were wearing black bandanas on their heads.  Both men are believed to be in their 20's.
