MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota (WXOW) The Brewers will have three starters in the line-up Tuesday night, more than any other National League team. Aramis Ramirez is hitting 6th. Jonathan Lucroy and Carlos Gomez hitting 8th and 9th, respectively.
Gomez is making his first start after seeing action as a reserve in his first all-star game last year.
Lucroy became the third Brewers starter when St. Louis catcher Yadier Molina suffered an injury.
Lucroy admitted he doesn't like the circumstances.
Both players, though, are embracing the spotlight.
"I'm just glad to be in the line-up. You got the kind of line-up we have I'm just glad to be in there somewhere. I'll be the bat boy if that's what it takes. Honestly, I got the All-Star Game start but that doesn't matter to me. I was really just looking forward to coming and enjoying the experience," said Lucroy.
"I never feel pressure or nervous. Just be me and enjoy the moment the more I can," Gomez said on Monday.
