WEST SALEM, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The La Crosse Interstate Fair started on Wednesday in West Salem. Some of this year's highlights include live music, carnival rides, and plenty of animals. There is also going to be the first ever battle of the bands competition on Sunday.“I think what I was excited about the most is the weather,” said Marla Stello, Secretary of the La Crosse Co. Agriculture Society. “Usually the fair is hot and it's uncomfortable at times but this year I think we're looking for very good weather. And it will bring out the crowds and make everybody feel comfortable.”
