Loggers woes continue after doubleheader sweep

The Loggers season continues to circle the drain after a doubleheader sweep at the hands of the Madison Mallards Wednesday.

The Loggers lost game one at Copeland Park 13-1.

Pete Alonso hit two home runs and Austin Barr had a grand slam for the Mallards.

Game two was held in Madison at night and it didn't go much better for La Crosse, losing 8-4.

 Mike Nadratowski had two hits and two runs batted in for the Loggers.

The Loggers have now lost 11 of their last 12.

They are now 8-19 in the second half and 29-33 overall.
