Onalaska, WI (WXOW)  It's a big weekend for those teams competing at legion state tournaments.

Onalaska will take it's turn in the Class AA state tournament in Baraboo starting Friday.
Onalaska has been aiming for a trip to state all season.
They've been ranked as high as two in the state polls.
They're pitching, led by ace Dustin Gordon, has been a big reason why.

"I feel confident every time Dustin takes the mound.  I feel like we're in pretty good shape whenever he throws. We just need to score 4, 5 or 6 runs for him and we're in pretty good shape.  No matter who they're playing," said head coach Larry Swiggum.                                "It's a great team to be a part of and our pitching staff has been pretty special this season.  We've got three guys who are capable aces on this team.  That's helped us a lot in close games," said Gordon.

Onalaska will take on Baraboo Friday morning at 10:30 in the first game of the double elimination tournament.
