Onalaska's Rockin' the Prairie draws hundreds of visitors

Onalaska, WI (WXOW) -

The 7th annual Rockin' the Prairie was in full swing on Saturday evening in Brice Prairie, part of Onalaska, to benefit Brice Prairie EMS and Rescue services.

Hundreds attended the event on Saturday evening, as all money from food, drink, ticket, and shirt sales go towards Brice Prairie's EMS and Rescue department—which helps pay for equipment upgrades.

The event included a couple of bands, as Brice Prairie EMS and Rescue Services Director Chris O'Hearn said Rockin' the Prairie is “as close as it gets” to having a town festival.

O'Hearn said they hope money raised from this year's event will help pay off one of their rescue vehicles.
