Miss Wisconsin supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals
La Crosse, WI (WXOW) -
Miss Wisconsin 2014, Raenna Johnson, declared Monday August 11 as Miracle Monday across the state of Wisconsin. The purpose of Miracle Monday is to raise money that will directly benefit local families treated by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
The Miracle Monday Celebration took place at La Crosse's Myrick Park Monday afternoon. Free activities included inflatable rides, a dunk tank, activities and yard games. Food was available for purchase from Outback Steakhouse along with frozen custard from Culver's with a portion of the proceeds going CMN Hospitals.
Johnson stated, "During my travels as Miss Wisconsin I have had life changing moments with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The children continually remind me how precious life is and I am passionate about supporting this worthwhile cause."
