Entering fall camp, no one knew what to expect out of the badgers wide receiver group, but a week into camp it seems like the group is better than expected. Wisconsin brought in three true freshman who look to contribute. With Kenzel Doe and Jordan Fredrick slowed with injury, red shirt sophomore Reggie Love has taken over.
In the team's scrimmage yesterday, Love caught three passes, including a touchdown from Joel Stave. For a guy with one career reception, Reggie seems to be ready for a little more Love.
He says, "I want to make sure they know my name and I want to make sure they know I've arrived; but at the same time it's still about the team because we want to make sure we get something accomplished."
Head coach Gary Andersen agrees, "Reggie has made some plays week in and week out. It is about time we talk about Reggie because he was impressive today. I'm proud of Reggie, he's a young man whose battled, whose fought and I think he's made football more important to him."
