The Eau Claire man accused of killing his wife was ordered to stand trial today.
An Eau Claire judge heard testimony today in the case of Thomas Biesterveld. The judge then found it probable that he committed a crime.
Biesterveld is accused of shooting and killing his wife Lois at their west side home nearly two weeks ago.
Police say he admitted shooting her because he was afraid she was going to leave him. Investigators say she was shot in the back with a 12 gauge shotgun after the couple had an argument. Thomas Biesterveld is scheduled to enter a plea to the murder charge in October.
