Trooper: 5 Iowa teenagers injured in rollover

MONONA, Iowa (AP) - The Iowa State Patrol says five Iowa teenagers have been hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover in Clayton County.

A trooper says the accident occurred Thursday near Monona. He says the 17-year-old driver lost control of his truck, which went into a ditch and flipped.

The driver, two 15-year-olds, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old were injured. They were transported to Prairie du Chien Hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

The crash report indicates only two of the teens were wearing seat belts.
