Madison, WI (WKOW) - -

A former Dane County Sheriff's Deputy accused of killing his wife and sister-in-law wants his one million dollars bail reduced to no more than one hundred thousand dollars.

In a court motion Andrew Steele's attorney says Steele has no access to thousands raised to help Steele cope with a diagnosis of ALS.

There will be a bail hearing on Thursday to discuss the motion.

Steele is accused of killing his wife and sister-in-law in their Fitchburg home on Friday, August 22.  Both victims were shot.

Steele was diagnosed with ALS in June, which forced him to quit his job as a Deputy in the Dane County Jail.
