Madison man makes plea deal in 2013 brutal beating
La Crosse, WI (WXOW) -
A plea deal for a Madison man who broke into his ex-girlfriend's home in La Crosse and brutally beat a man staying there.
Thomas Beitlich, 32, pleaded no contest to first degree reckless injury, armed burglary and aggravated battery with use of a dangerous weapon, Thursday in a La Crosse court room.
Prosecutors said Beitlich broke into his ex-girlfriend's home in the early morning hours in Oct. 2013 and severely beat a man who was there. He fled the home following the attack that left the man with several skull fractures.
