Packers hold final practice, are ready for showdown with Seahawks

Seattle, WA (WXOW) - The Green Bay Packers are ready. After landing in Seattle on Friday - a day earlier than usual to adjust to the time zone - the Packers held a final practice Saturday morning, working out on the field at Memorial Stadium.

There was some light rain for the duration of practice, similar to what the team can expect in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

The closer the team gets to game time, the more the game itself is beginning to set in.

"I think you understand the magnitude of this game and where we're at," Clay Matthews said. "I think individually I understand and the rest of the veterans in this locker room as well as bringing the rookie guys along and the young guys understand what's on the line and it's a huge opportunity. Not a lot of people make it to the playoffs, yet alone the NFC Championship game so its very important."

Kickoff on Sunday is set for just after 2 p.m. The winner faces either the Indianapolis Colts or the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl on February 1.
