Badger football adds eight early enrollees

MADISON, Wis. – With the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin getting underway Tuesday, the Badgers' football program welcomed eight additions to its roster.

The Badgers have added LB Ty DeForest (Marshall, Wis.), OL Jon Dietzen (Black Creek, Wis.), QB Alex Hornibrook (West Chester, Pa.), QB Austin Kafentzis (Sandy, Utah), TE Kyle Penniston (Orange, Calif.), WR Noah Stengel (Sheboygan, Wis.), LB Nick Thomas (Bradenton, Fla.) and DB Serge Trezy (Orlando, Fla.).

With the exception of Trezy, who will be junior in 2015 after transferring from Eastern Arizona College, the new additions will be freshmen for the 2015 season.
